Introducing...Tatiana Estevez, Founder & CEO, Permalution Inc.

Tatiana Estevez is the founder and CEO of Permalution Inc., a cleantech company based in Quebec.  Permalution focuses on fog and cloud water collection as a means to democratize access to water and provide climate adaptation solutions.  

She has experience in building sustainable cities, corporate innovation, project management, and over nine years of experience working in the high-tech industry. Through her work, she was named a top talent at the UNLEASH Global Innovation Lab for the Sustainable Development Goal, particularly with SDG #6: achieving clean water and sanitation for all.  

This year, Tatiana participated in the Venture into Sustainability Startup Pitch session at the Canada-in-Asia Conference in Singapore. Hosted in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and ecosystem-builder Anchor Asia (Anchor Taiwan), the event featured a curated delegation of Asian and Canadian investors, select Canadian technology startups, relevant government officials from Canada and Asia, and accelerators andincubators in the region’s innovation ecosystem. Through this event, she was able to pitch  Permalution to investors and leave a lasting impression with her innovative clean technology.  

She has also led  Permalution to reach incredible milestones. Permalution won the 2024 Water Dragons Canada heat in London, U.K., and will be competing in the 2024 Water Dragons Final. Permalution was also selected as one of 26 companies for AquaEntrepreneur’s third cohort, with the intention of aiming to advance water technology in Quebec.  

Equally focused on community building and engagement, Tatiana founded and sits as the director of Tech Quiero. Tech Quiero is an NGO that teaches technology and entrepreneurship to women and girls in Latin America and Quebec. It currently has operations in four cities in North America.
