The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and The National Bureau of Asian Research are proud to host the 2013 Pacific Energy Summit for the first time in North America. Under the theme of “Forging Trans-Pacific Cooperation for a New Energy Era”, this two-day invitation-only event will convene policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to explore market and policy solutions for deepening North America-Asia energy ties and environmental cooperation.
2013 Summit discussion topics include:

- Finding the Right Price: LNG Markets and the Asian Premium
- The North American Policy Environment and the Impact on Asia
- Infrastructure: Building the Energy Framework of the Future
The 2013 Pacific Energy Summit is the premier event in Canada focused on North America-Asia energy trade and co-operation. The conference will include delegates from Canada, the United States and Asia in order to provide diverse viewpoints on energy issues.

Summit History
Since 2009, The National Bureau of Asian Research has hosted the annual Pacific Energy Summit in cities across Asia. Previous Summits have been convened in Hanoi, Vietnam (2012); Jakarta, Indonesia (2011); and Tokyo, Japan (2009).
