Kana Bak
Kana Bak is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto with a BA in Contemporary Asian Studies and Diaspora & Transnational Studies. Kana has previously interned at the Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics (HOME) in Singapore, where she supported stakeholder consultations for foreign domestic worker cases.
Her research with the Asian Institute at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy focused on the political, legal, cultural, and social impacts of transnational labour movements in East and Southeast Asia. She intends to pursue further education concerning the political economies of the Asia Pacific region.
