Rachel Poon
Rachel Poon is currently pursuing her J.D. at the University of Ottawa, where she serves as an Associate Editor of the Ottawa Law Review and Co-Chair of the Environmental Law Students Association. She was a research fellow as part of the Scotiabank AI and Society Initiative housed at the Centre of Law, Society, and Technology in the areas of autonomous vehicles.
Before law school, Rachel graduated from the University of Waterloo in urban planning. She has spent a semester abroad at the National University of Singapore, where she fell in love with smart city infrastructure. Inspired by technology-leveraged urban systems, she is currently pursuing a career in construction and infrastructure law.
