Justine Chen, MA student in Asia Pacific Policy Studies at UBC will discuss the complex political and economic context that surrounds China’s mining laws and rare earth regulations. The brown bag roundtable which takes place on Wednesday, March 2nd from 12:00 – 1:00pm, will examine the rare earth controversy that arose following the incident over the Diaoyutai/Senkaku island.
