Autumn Colours on the Que and Hua Mountains by Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322) is considered one of the most celebrated Chinese ink brush landscape paintings. Hank Bull, Senior Fellow of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, shoots footage outside the city of Jinan, Shandong Province to capture the current landscape of where the painting was depicted. This Brown Bag will feature a film that attempts to reproduce some aspects of Zhao Mengfu's painting.
