Lynda Jumilla, senior political correspondent, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp, and winner of this year’s Marshall McLuhan Award for Investigative Journalism, will give a talk on "Polls, Politics, and the Press: New roles, new challenges for the Philippine media". This event on October 9 is hosted as part of the brown bag lunch series held at APF Canada’s Vancouver office. The Marshall McLuhan Award for Investigative Journalism is awarded yearly by the Embassy of Canada to a Filipino journalist who has published an outstanding piece of investigative report.
