APF Canada is hosting a conference on October 15-17, 2014 in Calgary entitled ‘Canada’s Asia Challenge: Building Skills and Knowledge for the Next Generation.’ The conference will focus on the need for a concerted national effort to improve the knowledge and skills required for Canadians to succeed in a world where the centre of gravity is shifting towards Asia. The conference will bring together Canadian educators, policy-makers and business leaders from across the country to discuss what is being done, and what initiatives are still needed to ensure that Canadians can effectively navigate the many emerging opportunities arising out of the Asia Pacific region.
