The University of Toronto will host a conference on Chinese immigration to Canada at the Richard Charles Lee Canada-Hong Kong Library in Toronto on September 25, 2013. The conference will discuss settlement trajectories, labour market experiences, sense of identity and belonging, inter-generational mobility and Asian-Canadian studies. Speakers include The Hon. Vivienne Poy, Former Senator and author of the Passage to Promise Land: Voices of Chinese Immigrant Women to Canada; Ruth Hayhoe, University of Toronto; Jeffrey G.
