APF Canada, in collaboration with the Canadian Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and Global Affairs Canada, is hosting a strategic dialogue between Canada and the Philippines.
This inaugural dialogue will bring together experts, academics, government officials, and private sector leaders from both countries to discuss and deepen bilateral partnerships. The discussions will focus on key areas for bilateral co-operation, such as maritime security and governance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), space, trade, and investment.

Objectives
- Strengthen the Canada-Philippines partnership in critical areas of mutual interest, including maritime governance, cybersecurity, AI, space exploration, trade, and investment.
- Explore collaborative opportunities that align with Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy and the Canada-Philippines Comprehensive Partnership.
- Assess and address the security dynamics in the South China Sea and their implications for both nations.
- Foster greater understanding and co-operation between the public and private sectors of both countries.
