‘Financing Innovation: Enabling Venture Capital in APEC’ Workshop
The ‘Financing Innovation: Enabling Venture Capital in APEC’ workshop on May 21 in Kuala Lumpur is a first attempt by the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) to facilitate a discussion on the role of venture capital in the growing APEC region. This preliminary discussion will support ABAC’s work on innovative growth and contribute towards its longer term goal of developing recommendations to APEC Leaders on what governments can do to support the growth of this industry in the Asia Pacific. This initiative is led by ABAC Canada with support from ABAC Japan.
