The Impact of the Great Chinese Leadership Change for Canada and the World
The Institute of Asian Research, the Centre for
Chinese Research and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada are hosting a panel
discussion on the recent Chinese leadership change and its implications for
Canada and the world. The event will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall
Centre on March 27 from 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM with a cocktail reception to follow.
Speakers include Shen Dingli, Fudan University; Pitman Potter, Institute of
Asian Research, UBC; David Bachman, Jackson School of International Studies,
University of Washington; Yves Tiberghein, Institute of Asian Research, UBC;
