Mark McDowell, Canada’s first resident Ambassador to Myanmar, presents an insider’s look at Myanmar’s political transformation. Additionally, Mr. McDowell will touch on how he integrated digital tools and social media platforms during his time in both China and Myanmar, and the impact/roles they played in enhancing Canada’s engagement in those countries.
