Seminar on India and China: facts, opportunities and limitations
The Jack Austin Centre is holding a lecture with
Professor Rajneesh Narula on Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) from India and
China: facts, opportunities and limitations. He observes that Indian and
Chinese MNEs' activities parallel those of other MNEs from other countries at a
similar stage of internationalisation and development. Yet, the initial spurt
of 'new' MNEs from India is likely to be short-lived, due in part to the
underinvestment in technological and absorptive capacities at home. The seminar
will take place from 3:00-4:30pm on May 25th at the Segal Graduate School in
downtown Vancouver. The Jack Austin Centre is a joint venture between Simon
Fraser University and APF Canada.
