Bonnie Lao

Bonnie Lao recently graduated from the University of Oxford with an MPhil in Area Studies, focusing on Southeast Asian political economy, where her research analyzed the impacts of foreign investment on Indonesia’s foreign economic policy. Bonnie also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies from the University of Toronto. As a CAYP fellow, she looks forward to deepening her understanding of the area and contributing to the burgeoning relationship between Canada and Southeast Asia.
