Julian Lam

Julian Lam is a recent graduate from McGill University, where he earned a Master's of Public Policy as a McCall MacBain scholar. He possesses a strong passion for international trade and technology policy, with a particular focus on the economic and digital connections between Canada and Asia. In addition to his academic pursuits, Julian has held several positions at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, the journal Pacific Affairs, and CPP Investments. Currently, he serves as a research associate with the Center for Media Technology and Democracy, where he examines how Canada can enhance its governance role of emerging technologies on the global stage.
