Lauren Shykora
Lauren Shykora is a Master of International Affairs candidate at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. Before studying at NUS, Lauren was a Consular Case Management Officer as well as a Trade Policy Analyst at Global Affairs Canada, focusing on environmentally and socially sustainable trade provisions in Canada’s free trade negotiations. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia, and her current research is focused on Canada’s role as a middle power in the international order and Canadian trade and security policy in the Indo-Pacific.
