In this episode of Asia Pacific Conversations, we welcome a very special guest – Dr. Raja Mohan, APF Canada’s inaugural Indo-Pacific Visiting Scholar, under our new Indo-Pacific Fellowship Programs banner.
Professor Mohan is an author and renowned expert on geopolitics, the global governance of emerging technologies, and India’s foreign and economic policies. A former Director and now a Visiting Research Professor at the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore, Dr. Mohan spent the week of March 24, 2025, on an APF Canada-partnered academics peaking tour of Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa.
In this episode of Asia Pacific Conversations, recorded on the sidelines of that tour, Prof. Mohan sits down with APF Canada’s Vice-President Research & Strategy Vina Nadjibulla to discuss India’s reactions to the Trump presidency, its own complex economic and security landscape, its current and future foreign policy leanings and objectives, and the Visiting Scholar’s renewed hope for Canada-India relations as both countries seek new partnerships and opportunities in an increasingly fragmented world.
Please enjoy this episode of Asia Pacific Conversations.
