Arief ‘Abe’ Rizky Bakhtiar

Abe is a seasoned professional with 10 years of experience in regional economic co-operation and international development. As a Senior Officer at the ASEAN Secretariat, he supports ASEAN’s economic integration initiatives, focusing on trade, industry, and emerging issues. Previously, he worked with the Asian Development Bank, APEC Policy Support Unit, and Ministry of National Development Planning of Indonesia.

An Indonesian national, Abe holds a Master in Public Policy specializing in Economics and Development from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, and a B.A. in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
