Sugar Munkhtsooj

As advisor to Mongolia's Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Sugar leads initiatives to develop a legal framework for carbon credit mechanisms in the country. Previously, Sugar worked as a strategy consultant, providing guidance on growth and development strategies for companies across the insurance, real estate, and finance sectors. 

A seasoned entrepreneur, he has founded several companies in education, communications, and trading. He also served as International Secretary for the Democratic Party of Mongolia, one of the nation's two major political parties. Sugar holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and is an ‘AsiaGlobal’ Fellow at the University of Hong Kong.
