Tarek Hassan Semul
Research Fellow, Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS)
A.S.M. Tarek Hassan Semul is a Research Fellow at BIISS. He has more than 14 years of research and policy analysis experience in foreign policy, international security, and strategic studies.
In 2020, he participated in the Kautilya Fellowship Programme on India’s foreign policy. In 2023, he participated in the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program for the “Indo-Pacific Region.”
He is a member of the RUSI, UK and the Indo-Pacific Circle, India. Mr. Hassan is BIISS’s Focal Point with Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on ASEAN and ARF.
He holds an MSS and BSS in International Relations.
