Isabelle Tupas

Isabelle D. Tupas graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a BA in Asian Studies in 2021. She has completed internships focused on the intersection of culture, governance, and social justice, and has worked on projects centred around Asian Canadian history and public memory.
During her undergraduate years, her research interests included comparative studies on East Asian and North American sociopolitical systems, East Asian and Southeast Asian ethnic studies, and the exploration of East Asian transnational migration to Canada. She was born and raised in Vancouver to first-generation Filipino-Canadian immigrants.
