The Kakehashi Project Young Leaders Workshop invites Canadian student leaders and Japanese international students resident in Canada to engage in exchange through dialogue and cultural activities. Kakehashi, or "bridge" in Japanese, symbolizes the way in which individuals can act as connectors for the two nations and create lasting friendships between Canada and Japan.
The Japan-Canada Kakehashi Project is a youth exchange program funded by the Government of Japan and co-ordinated in Canada by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada). This event is generously supported by Porte, a youth impact incubator, with contributions from APF Canada and the Kakehashi Project, students from VGC International College, and venue provided by the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre.
Please note: Completion certificates will be issued to all participants. This is an invitation-only event.
