In support of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada’s mandate to inform and to educate Canadian policy-makers and the Canadian public on developments within the Asia Pacific, APF Canada has launched its new ‘Election Focus 2019’ video series in the run-up to the fall election.
The 'Focus' series includes six videos featuring expert commentary on 'hot-button' areas and topics including Hong Kong, South Korea-Japan relations, Taiwan, Regional Trade, Canada-U.S.-China relations, and ASEAN. These videos not only detail the specifics and latest developments in each issue area, but also highlight their relevance for Canada.
Following the release of this new video series, APF Canada will publish a policy document containing relevant recommendations for the new Government of Canada. This strategy document will identify the parameters for new policy in the Asia Pacific, focusing on Canada’s national interests and how they relate to key regional developments in Asia.
