China's Climate Policies and Position in International Climate Negotiations

Dr. Wang Tao will give a presentation on China's policies for reducing carbon emissions and the country's position in climate negotiations at an event hosted by APF Canada on June 24. Dr. Tao will discuss China's policies for encouraging electric vehicle use, China's efforts in developing emissions trading schemes and in climate change mitigation more generally. A general discussion will follow the presentation. The event will take place from 12:00pm-1:30pm at the APF Canada Vancouver offices at 220-890 West Pender Street.
