The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada is hosting a by-invitation luncheon in honour of H. E. Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), to commemorate the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Canada relations. Dr. Surin will discuss " The Role of ASEAN in Asia’s Rise: Southeast Asia’s Place in an Asia Strategy for Canada." The event will take place in Toronto on September 21.
