Grace Melanie Pacio
Grace is the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada’s Director, Human Resources and Administration, and leads strategic and operational initiatives across the HR value chain, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits strategies, organizational development and change management, and employee and labour relations functions anchored in attracting and retaining key talent.
Grace joined the Foundation in January 2020, initially as the Human Resources & Office Manager. She champions a learning and collaborative culture that enhances organizational performance and employee satisfaction. Concurrently, Grace manages the delivery of IT support and other third-party service providers, as well as delivering office administration services for both the Vancouver and Central Canada (Toronto) offices.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Grace gained more than 20 years of extensive Human Resources experience in various global and multinational organizations. Her career has spanned several industries, including banking, pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), distribution and supply chain, courier services, and food manufacturing. She brings to the Foundation a comprehensive understanding of complex organizational dynamics and the ability to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals.
Grace holds a master’s degree in human resources from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Vancouver), a bachelor's degree in business management from Assumption College (Makati, Philippines), and various Human Resources certifications.
