APEC Japan 2010

The 18^th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting took place in Yokohama, Japan from Nov 13 to 14. The forum is designed to facilitate economic cooperation among 21 nations and regions in the Asia-Pacific area will examine the 2010 theme of ‘Change and Action.’ The key issues for 2010 include: 1) promoting regional integration, including assessing Bogor Goals and possibilities to FTAAP ; 2) formulating a regional growth strategy that is balanced, inclusive, sustainable and knowledge-based; 3) enhancing human security; and 4) strengthening APEC’s capacity to execute concrete actions.
