Setting the Table for Asia Pacific Food Security: A Multi-Sectoral Dialogue

This will be a multi-sectoral dialogue on the importance of food security in the Canada-Asia relationship. Our guest speakers Timothy Kendrick (President, BW Global), Gisèle Yasmeen (Senior Fellow, Institute of Asian Research, University of British Columbia), and Ishkandar Ahmed (CEO, Choices Markets) will offer evidence-based perspectives on the impact of innovation on food production, the role of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the agri-food sector and the challenges they face, as well as how Canadian retailers and consumers are affected by shifts in international food production and procurement.
