Women's Human Rights: "Comfort Women" of WWII in Asia
The Toronto Association for Learning and the Preserving of History of WWII in Asia is hosting two free events on October 22 that will examine women's human rights in the context of World War II in Asia. A panel discussion with Lola Fidencia David, a survivor of Japanese military sexual assault, will take place at the University of Toronto William Doo Auditorium from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. THe panel will also include Tiffany Hsiung, Dr. Janice Kim, Dr. Cristina Lope Rosello and Dr. Joseph Wong.
